I was wondering, how they give birth to children? I don't think they do the same as mammals like a Minotaur.
For exemple, I think Ushi-oni or Siren have eggs. So, they shouldn't have a belly button when we think about that.
How long is the pregnancy? Same as human because they're half-human, or it's not the same for every species?
I know it might be weird but I'm the kind of guy who think about this kind of stuff because I'm curious and I want to know what do you think about that. KC has said that any beastman lays eggs or bears young similar to the nimal it represents. Birds lay eggs, lizards lay eggs, dragons lay eggs, fish lay eggs and mammals give live birth. Un-organic MG's however like the living doll give birth like mammals or are created from objects by DE. The pregnancy time should last the same time as a human pregnancy for mammal MG's.
Caffeine during pregnancy
For egglaying MG's pregnancy and egg-hatching takes as long as it takes for the represented animal in the MG's would. While we cannot be sure, it is suspected that egglayers who lay multiple eggs for that reason also get many children with each batch. As for the egglayers having belly buttons, I do not know how young are grown inside the egg, so either the bellybutton on those monsters is normal, or it's for aesthetic purposes. Even birds have belly buttons, they are just less pronounced than in mammals.
The developing foetus still needs a link to the yolk sac within the eggs. So even egg laying monsters will have bell buttons. KC also stated that Egg laying species will have a short term of pregnancy where the egg will grow larger while inside the mother. After they will then lay the egg and it will develop as a nomal egg. Just that this egg will be about the size of a chickens egg rather than the far larger fertalised eggs.
This could be dependant on the species though, since KC mentions a pregnancy period for egg layers then it may be only 1 - 4 eggs at a time depending on the species.
Chapter can a monster girl get pregnant?
Compared to the few dozen to hundereds that species may normally lay. Consider the lizardman, she may have 1 - 3 eggs at a time. Given that the egg does not develop to the size of a normal human babies head, if not a touch bigger, then it seems reasonable that they may lay 2 - 3 eggs at a time. Then consider the arachne, spiders lay hundereds of eggs at a time. We have to consider that compared to their original species, the eggs and babies are larger for the monster girls in comparisson.
Now considering a period of pregnancy, you can't compare monster girls to species that lay many eggs at once. Since those species do not store eggs within thier bodies before laying them.
There are also some unconventional ways, mostly the parasitic and artificial mamono, but pretty much all of them can reproduce like the above as well. As for the belly buttons, well mamono are partially human and are supposed to be attractive to humans. So even those who don't need it shall have it for aesthetic purposes. I didn't know about that, I though it was only mammals who have that. Thank you everyone for your answers!
I think I got all but just wanted to ask if someone knows. Well all of the monster girls have sex and yeah get pregnant, lay egg and other ways but I still don't get how the pregnancy, fertilization and birth of plant monster girls works. Can someone explain? While the shroom-like girls infect existing women with spores and make them shroomites like that.
I assume that plant-based mamono have a pregnancy process like mammals, thanks to their newly given humanoid forms. Monster Girl Encyclopedia Wiki. In Don't have an ?

It differs from MG to MG. These are the more conventional ones: Succubi, Mammal Beastmen, etc. Slimes through mitosis. Plants like Alraune and Mandragora spread out seeds or spores. Succubi, Mammal Beastmen, etc.
